Many people think of Wilder Valerrama, and immediately think of his character, Fez, from That ‘70s Show. Others think of some of his other roles, including a recurring one on Grey’s Anatomy, or his current role on NCIS, as special agent Nick Torres.

Wilmer and singer/actress Milian reportedly dated as teenagers back in 1998. However, their relationship fizzled out fast. There was no rumored connection between them again for years.
Then 2006 came around, and there were persistent rumors that they were back together. Milian, who was dating rapper and music producer Dr. Dre at the time, denied the rumors. She claimed that even though Valderrama was a nice guy, she was loyal to Dre.
Jennifer Love Hewitt – 1999
She was married to singer-songwriter The-Dream in 2009, when they eloped in Las Vegas. They divorced in 2011. Milian is currently dating another musician, French singer-songwriter M. Pokora, who’s also a coach in “The Voice Kids France.” They have one son together, born in early 2020.
Over the past few years, she has released music, starred in a reality show, and even was a judge on a TV show. In 2019, she starred in a Netflix film titled “Falling Inn Love,” which was a romantic comedy filmed in New Zealand.
Jennifer Love Hewitt Now
There were rumors of a relationship between Love Hewitt and Wilmer back in 1999. On the Howard Stern show, Wilmer admitted to being involved with the “Party of Five actress,” but he didn’t give any details.
Valderrama did rate her as an eight on a scale of one to ten on the show, though. Obviously, Love Hewitt didn’t like hearing that. She went on to deny the relationship, saying she “would have loved to have been there.”
Mandy Moore – 2000-2002
Love Hewitt started as a child actress and was made famous when she joined the cast of “Party of Five.” Since then, she has acted in TV shows and movies, and even released four albums as a singer. On top of that, she has been credited in both directing and producing roles.
She married actor Brian Hallisay in 2013. They eventually welcomed two children. Love Hewitt is currently playing Maddie on the TV series “9-1-1,” and has been doing so since the second season.
Mandy Moore Now
Wilmer dated actress Mandy Moore from 2000-2002, back when she was 15 years old and working on teen movies such as “The Princess Diaries.” She had just ventured into big-time acting after making a name for herself from singing.
In 2006, years after they broke up, Valderrama talked to Howard Stern on his show and mentioned his intimate relationship with Mandy. He also claimed that he was her first, which she denied. Moore also recently spoke with Stern and claimed what Valderrama said was false. The two remained friends, but she was shocked to hear he made those remarks about their time together.
Sofia Vergara – 2003
Moore still has a lot on her plate today, including a major role on the popular TV show “This Is Us.” While acting across many shows and movies, she still found time to release her first original music in a decade. She even got her name on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2019.
She has had several relationships since cutting ties with Wilmer, and even married singer-songwriter Ryan Adams back in 2009. They divorced in 2016, and she began dating another musician, Taylor Goldsmith. The couple got married in 2018, and are still together today.
Sofia Vergara Now
Wilmer was seen getting cozy in public with Vergara, known mainly for her role in “Modern Family,” which didn’t premier until 2009. She was 31 years old at the time, and he was only 23.
The relationship didn’t last the first time. However, the two were seen together years later, so it clearly didn’t end on bad terms. Whatever ended up happening between them on the second tour wasn’t meant to be, either.
Mila Kunis – 1999
Vergara started out as a model before becoming an actress. When she was only 18 years old, she married her high school sweetheart, Joe Gonzalez. The two had a son, but divorced in 1993. Thereafter, she was engaged to businessman Nick Loeb, but they called it quits, too. Eventually, in 2015, she married actor Joe Manganiello.
In 2016, Vergara was the highest paid actress on TV. To this day, she continues to act on both the big screen and TV. She’s even a judge on “America’s Got Talent.”
Mila Kunis Now
Valderrama and Kunis were co-stars on the series “That ’70s Show.” It aired from 1998-2006, and made them both stars. Jackie and Fez, their characters, eventually became a couple on the show. There were rumors that the two were together off-screen, too.
Neither of them ever confirmed or denied these dating-in-real-life rumors. Kunis did say, however, that Wilmer was the one who taught her how to drive.
Mischa Barton – 2004
Kunis got her big break when she was cast for the role of Jackie in “That ’70s Show,” alongside Wilmer. She became a well-known actress, mainly acting in comedy films such as “Friends with Benefits,” “Ted,” and “The Spy who Dumped Me.” She also voices Meg in the show “Family Guy.”
In 2012, Kunis actually did start dating one of her “That ’70s Show” co-stars, but it wasn’t Wilmer. She eventually married Ashton Kutcher in 2015. They have two kids together.
Mischa Barton Now
Barton burst onto the scene when she got the lead role in “The OC.” Soon after, she had a partying problem and it negatively affected her acting. As a result, she was fired.
Somewhere in the midst of that phase, she reportedly dated Wilmer. The two presented an award together at the Teen Choice Awards. One thing led to another, and they became an item. They dated for a short time before parting ways.
Lindsay Lohan – 2004
After getting cut from “The OC,” Barton cleaned up her act and picked up her career where she left off. She dated Australian model James Abercrombie, who is the son of lawyer and politician Andrew Abercrombie and heir to his fortune. They started dating in 2017, but the two seem to have split in 2019.
Barton continues to act in both the TV and movie categories. She also has modeled for and endorsed several brands over the years, usually in the beauty/fashion fields.
Lindsay Lohan Now
In 2004, Lohan began dating Valderrama. Similar to Mandy Moore, she was quite young at only 17 years old. Wilmer was 24 at the time, so they kept things secret until her 18th birthday, at which point they confirmed the rumors and moved in together.
Unfortunately, their romance only lasted a few months. It ended only two weeks after Lohan’s guest appearance on “That ’70s Show.” She later admitted her music single “Over” was inspired by the young man who broke her heart.
Ashlee Simpson – 2005
Lohan became famous as a child, appearing in the movie “The Parent Trap,” and she’s currently playing the role of Katerina West on the comedy “Sick Note.” She even recently released her first album in 15 years. Aside from acting and singing, she also has a few other gigs.
She has owned two resorts in Greece, but one has supposedly closed. She’s also spokesperson for “Lawyer.com,” which connects people with lawyers. When it comes to dating, she has not confirmed a relationship with anyone, although there are always rumors.
Ashlee Simpson Now
Simpson, the sister of singer and actress Jessica Simpson, was connected with Wilmer back in 2005. Even though it was never confirmed, Wilmer mentioned her when talking about his ex-girlfriends on “The Howard Stern Show.”
Supposedly Lindsay Lohan accused Simpson of stealing Valderrama from her, which inspired Simpson’s song “Boyfriend.” However, Simpson denied that Wilmer was the inspiration of the song.
Jessica Biel – 2007
Simpson married musician Pete Wentz in 2008. Unfortunately, after approximately four years of marriage, they filed for divorce. She later dated actor Evan Ross. After dating for only seven months, they were engaged. They married in 2014, and have a daughter, as well as a son from her previous marriage. As of April 2020, a third child was on the way.
Although she retired from acting, Simpson is back into music and currently working on her fourth album. This comes over a decade since her last music release.
Jessica Biel Now
Biel starred alongside Wilmer in his 2001 big screen debut, the romantic comedy “Summer Catch.” It wasn’t until 2007, though, that they were actually spotted together off-set, when they were seen dancing at a hotel.
Although it was never confirmed, rumors indicated they were indeed together. If the rumors were true, the fling only lasted for a few months and they never came around again.
Avril Lavigne – 2009
Biel’s fame started when she was cast as Mary in the “7th Heaven.” She went on to work mainly in film, where she gravitated to romantic comedy and drama. Shortly after supposedly dating Valderrama, she began dating her current husband, actor and singer Justin Timberlake. They got married in 2012, and have been together ever since. They have one son together.
While she continues to act in both TV series and movies, Biel has ventured behind the camera as a producer as well. She also dabbles as an activist for causes close to her heart, including the health field.
Avril Lavigne Now
Lavigne started singing at a young age, and became famous upon her first album, “Let Go.” In 2009, after years of marriage to Deryck Whibley, the lead singer of the band Sum 41, she filed for divorce. She later went on to date both Brody Jenner and Chad Kroeger.
However, she reportedly dated Wilmer before those two, right after her separation from Whibley. They became friends after working together on the documentary “Fast Food Nation,” and apparently things got serious thereafter.
Eva Longoria – 2012
She married Chad Kroeger in 2013, but they filed for divorce shortly thereafter. Later, she dated billionaire heir Phillip Sarofim for a year. Unfortunately, they went their separate ways, and she has most recently been linked to fellow singer Pete Jonas.
Lavigne released her sixth album in 2019. It reached top 10 status in several countries. In a recent interview, she said she plans to release another album in the next year or so.
Eva Longoria Now
Longoria was spotted with Wilmer several times. First, during the funeral of her “Desperate Housewives” co-star, Lupe Ontiveros. She was seen being comforted by Valderrama.
They were even seen attending a play together in Los Angeles, where they were spotted holding hands and acting like a couple. These events in particular sparked dating rumors for obvious reasons.
Minka Kelly – 2012, 2016
While she played a major role in the show “The Young and the Restless,” Longoria became a household name for her role as Gabrielle in “Desperate Housewives.” This was around the time she dated Wilmer. Thereafter, she met her future husband, businessman José Bastón. The two married in 2016 and have a son together.
Longoria continues to act, but also has several other endeavors. Not only does she co-own a restaurant in Hollywood, but she has her own clothing line and is a philanthropist for many great causes. She is also an author, director and producer among other impressive titles.
Minka Kelly Now
It was rumored that Kelly was dating Wilmer all the way back in 2012, though it was never confirmed the first time around. In 2016, it was again reported that they were back together, as they were spotted having dinners and hanging out in Mexico.
Kelly denied the relationship, but Mandy Moore actually confirmed it. Moore, a friend of Kelly, was asked whether she felt weird about her friend dating her ex. Instead of denying it, she said it wasn’t weird at all.
Demi Lovato – 2010-2016
Kelly is mainly known for her roles in the TV series “Friday Night Lights,” “Parenthood,” and reboot of “Charlie’s Angels.” More recently, she has a recurring role in the series called “Titan,” which started in 2018 and is still running today.
She dated baseball player Derek Jeter from 2008-2011, and briefly again in 2012. The actress was also rumored to be in a relationship with “Grey’s Anatomy” star Jesse Williams, who had just separated from his wife. The current rumor is that she’s with Trevor Noah, host of “The Daily Show.”
Demi Lovato Now
Lovato was likely Wilmer’s most significant relationship, and definitely the longest one. They met when she was still only 17 years old, and she was into him. Wilmer said he wanted nothing to do with her, since she was underage.
She pursued him anyway, but he rejected her advances at first. When she turned 18 in 2010, the two finally began dating. They had quite the intense on-again-off-again relationship, until finally going their separate ways in 2016.
How It All Started
Lovato was hospitalized in July of 2018 after overdosing. This left Wilmer and her fans devastated. Despite not being together, Valderrama visited her several times in the hospital. Per reports, he said they never fell out of love, and when someone you love needs you, you should be there for them.
There were even rumors that he was going to propose to Lovato, but that didn’t happen. To understand why they’re so close, we need more to the story.
Emotional Rollercoaster
The two met when they agreed to shoot a public service announcement. Lovato later confessed she only signed to do it since she knew it would be at his house, and she thought he was cute.
Since there was a 13-year age gap between them, it was going to be complicated. The two still commenced an innocent relationship at first that would ultimately last for a long time, so Lovato’s initial plan worked out.
Engagement Rumors
Like a lot of couples, they had their ups and downs over the years that they dated. This included a separation in 2012. They reconciled and got back together shortly thereafter.
The relationship was intense, as they made public statements towards each other on social media. They would post pictures on Instagram with captions that expressed their love for one another. It all seemed great, so of course people wondered when they’d get engaged.
Ending On Good Terms
In 2015, Lovato was asked whether the two were going to tie the knot. She replied that they would probably wait a little longer, but that she would definitely say “yes” if he asked.
She also claimed she wouldn’t mind seeing a ring on her finger soon. Unfortunately for her and her fans alike, the relationship ended shortly after that.
The Reason Behind The Breakup
Lovato and Valderrama decided to call it quits in 2016, making a public announcement about their separation. They remained great friends even after it all ended.
For some reason, though, it seemed like these two weren’t totally done. Wilmer has moved on with his new fiancée (more on that soon), but fans can’t help but wonder why he and Lovato ever broke up in the first place.
Amanda Pacheco – 2019-2020
As Lovato stated in the past, the breakup wasn’t about their feelings for each other, or lack thereof. She had been battling mental health issues and substance abuse for years.
Her being unwell was always part of her relationship with Valderrama. She needed to figure things out on her own. Today, the former couple have both moved on, with Lovato recently releasing new music, singing at the Super Bowl, and even acting in a Netflix movie.
Who Is Amanda Pacheco?
Valderrama brought in the 2020 New Year with exciting news for his followers. He got engaged to his girlfriend of nine months, Amanda Pacheco!
After celebrating New Year’s Eve together in Mexico, they headed north to San Diego, where Wilmer proposed on the beach. Luckily, the stunning moment was captured on camera.
Unfortunately, not much is known about Wilmer’s future wife. She prefers to keep a more private, low-profile life than a lot of the famous women Valderrama has dated.
She’s 28 years old and is working as a model. She’s also a certified dive instructor. The newly engaged couple were first linked to each other in April of 2019, when they were spotted hanging out in Los Angeles.
